America’s Future Hangs in the Balance

January 6, 2021, was a supernatural event in American history. Standing in front of the Capitol building, I hoped justice would be served for me and at least a million other Americans who came to Washington, D.C., on that historic day. I witnessed firsthand the battle between good and evil, which has continued even as I write this on the eve of the 2024 Democratic National Convention.

I hope that there is no violence in Chicago during the event. But evil does evil things. Joe Biden, as Pastor Tom Hughes has said on many occasions, is likely a judgment on America—our just due for turning from God.

January 6 is an infamous day, and so far, the truth of what happened has been hidden from the public, spun in a web of lies. A spider builds its web to catch food to eat. In this case, I believe the web the Democrats have spun will come back to snag them, and they will be caught by the very system they have used to keep themselves in power.

I was at the Capitol that day and saw what happened. I recorded it and posted it on YouTube, but YouTube removed it. When I returned to the hotel around 5 p.m., I felt like what I saw on TV was a different event from the one I had just attended. I believe January 6 was the beginning of the end of America—unless, like Ninevah, we repent.

To add further thought to this historic event, I also closed captioned the election results on the night of the 2020 election, just as I had captioned five previous presidential elections on the biggest stages in American media. Never before the 2020 election had the counting of votes been halted in the middle of the night

I knew something was amiss. In real-time, it’s tough to manipulate reality. You only have time to report what you see. Later, you can go back and write the narrative the way you want it to be interpreted. By halting the counting of the votes, the powers that be could “rewrite” the news, orchestrate a new narrative, and do what they couldn’t do if they had not halted the counting.

However, what happened on January 6, 2021, is not the only battle between good and evil that has taken place in America. Another example is the Salem Witch Trials. The Salem Witch Trials and the January 6, 2021, events are two of the darkest stories in American history. Which is worse? They were both evil; how do you rank one evil as worse than another when evil is so horrid, putrid, and hurtful to those involved?

Between June 1692 and May 1693, 19 (an occult number) convicted witches were hung, and many others were sent to prison. One after the other, these innocent women were accused of something they didn’t do. Through the cowardice of the accusers, the women were murdered by those more powerful than they were, and many years passed before anyone had the guts (probably consumed with overwhelming guilt) to speak the truth about what happened.

In the same way, I believe the day will come when all the wrongs that have been done by the fanatical liberals, Marxists, and spineless Democrats will be exposed. Human justice can never restore what has been taken from the thousands of lives that have been scarred, those imprisoned, and others ruined by these ruthless attacks and those bent on destroying Trump and everyone who supports him. But perhaps God’s justice is even better because it’s eternal.

In the meantime, we must not be quiet. I will not be silenced because I fear God more than man. I believe the recent eclipses over the United States are signs of judgments from God because they are rare, supernatural events. They didn’t happen in Asia. They didn’t happen in Africa. They happened right here on the North American continent.

As Jesus said in Matthew 12:39, “An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.”

The sign of Jonah may be a sign of hope. The people of Ninevah repented and turned to God, and God withheld judgment on the city for another hundred years.

While I don’t believe we have another hundred years before Jesus’ return, the second occurrence of an event is always more significant than the first. Perhaps America will be a sheep nation in the Millennium, sending “gifts” to our King who sits on the throne in Jerusalem, those “gifts” being in the form of Jews who survive the tribulation.

The fact that these celestial events happened over America tells me that God has singled out America for great reward or great retribution. We must be busy serving the Lord in these last days to bring repentance and restoration. The U.S. was once great because it believed in a great God. America is only as great as its willingness to surrender its rights to the One who gave it those rights. Perhaps Trump’s motto says it most succinctly: Make America Great Again. We still have time, but only a little time.

Deuteronomy 33:17 (NLT): “Joseph has the majesty of a young bull; he has the horns of a wild ox. He will go to distant nations, driving them to the ends of the earth. That is my blessing for the multitudes of Ephraim.”

Who are Joseph’s descendants? He was the only son of Jacob with prophetic insights, i.e., the seven years of plenty followed the seven years of famine. He was the son who had visions of the sun, moon, and stars bowing down to him, prophetic of his brothers coming to Egypt for food and bowing before him.

What countries are Ephraim and Manasseh today? Were the prophetic statements of Jacob to Joseph fulfilled? Many consider England and the United States to be the two lost tribes. If one person stands, others are likely to follow. I witnessed this on January 6 at the Capitol as men dressed in black, armed with long sticks, banged on the Capitol windows. The crowd shouted at the thugs to stop.

A couple of men in the crowd wearing red MAGA hats went after the lawbreakers. One brave woman joined the men. These brave American patriots physically stopped the thugs in front of the Capitol. By this time, however, they had already cracked the windowpanes. Men in the crowd wearing MAGA hats, not police, prevented any more of these criminals from gaining access to the Capitol platform.

I was impressed by the woman who helped bring down one of the dangerous men. She then climbed up the barricade to the Capitol, crossed her arms, and guarded the damaged windows.

The crowd shouted in approval. I looked around for the police. Where were they? Did the American people have no protection from these violent offenders? Was this not the most sacred building for Democracy and freedom in the world? What was happening? I couldn’t believe it.

The woman was brave—much braver than I. Someone could have shot her. She made herself vulnerable for the American people, Democracy, and our freedom. At that point, there must have been at least half a million to a million people around the Capitol, and she stood guard, a woman.

I heard later, although I can’t verify it, that the police brutally beat her. I wish I knew who she was. She should receive commendation for her valor. The American people took back the Capitol that day. And yet, if you listen to the news, you don’t hear about that. YouTube took down my video that showed some of this, at least more than the government wanted people to see or know. Why would they do that?

My point is this: It only takes one person to take a stand, to speak the truth, to stand for justice, even at the risk of being mugged or killed, but maybe others will be brave enough to follow.

As all of this happened, I remember thinking that we must be willing to fight, to stand our ground for our Lord and Savior. When we do it in the name of Jesus, are we not standing on holy ground to be used by God for His purposes? We must be soldiers of the cross. If Christians won’t do it, who will?

In this YouTube video, Dr. Gene Kim expands on this demonic battle that we face each day. Why should we be surprised? Why do we not recognize what is happening? Anyone who doesn’t see what’s happening in America must have their head in the sand.

Job 39:17 (NLT) states: “For God has deprived her [the ostrich] of wisdom. He has given her no understanding.”

In other words, God’s wisdom is not wasted on the ignorant. An ignorant person is somebody who is not informed. That doesn’t mean they are stupid; they don’t know the facts. This is intentional, even among well-meaning folks who believe in Jesus.

For example, how many Christians say, “I don’t read Bible prophecy. I don’t understand it.” How will you gain understanding if you ignore portions of the “manual” for Christian living? God’s Word tells us everything we need to know—the past, the present, and the future. Don’t you believe God will give you supernatural insights if you trust Him and ask for His help?

So, I hope you recognize this battle as we enter election season. It is supernatural. It is the battle between good and evil. Will you stand like that lone woman did on January 6, 2021? Or will you put your head in the sand like an ostrich and not see anything? God always gives us a choice. We still have the freedom to make our own choices. Please, in the name of Jesus, choose wisely.
