This wonderful book of pet stories had me thinking about the ones I have had. From my first pony who I named Pet, to my childhood dog Cinnamon, through my numerous sheep, goats, hogs and cattle I showed in 4H, my ponies Brownie, Squirt and Ginger that lived long enough for my son to enjoy, my Black Lab mix dog Max who I enjoyed for almost 12 years and who helped me through my divorce, to several special sheep and goats, I look forward to seeing them all in Heaven. In the meantime, I will give dogs Dusty and Roxie, 7 barn cats, 2 horses, 2 ponies, 4 of the 11 goats (the others couldn’t care less), and a few of the 26 sheep some extra love and attention.
