I was on the edge of my seat throughout the story, thanks to its unpredictable plot and characters with diverse beliefs shaped by their experiences and backgrounds.
Chumana finds herself at the center of conflicting ideologies, caught between the government’s claim that humans descended from an alien species and Shale, her school friend, who teaches her about the biblical creation story.
As the first book in this series, it introduces many suspicious characters that enhance the story’s intrigue. I am completely hooked and eager to find out where the story is headed. Lorilyn Roberts does an excellent job of building suspense and keeping readers engaged with her captivating narrative.
The dialogue between the characters is realistic and conversational. Overall, this is a wonderful book that explores the profound mysteries of existence, divine purpose, and the potential hidden within each individual.
