Socialism: Jack Hibbs and Bob McEwen

This is the best video I’ve seen that explains socialism from a Biblical worldview. Make sure you watch to the end.

For those who don’t know Jack Hibbs, I recommend you follow him on YouTube and subscribe to his newsletters. I particularly enjoy his radio broadcasts and YouTube videos, such as “Real Life.” 

I recently had an opportunity to visit his church on a Sunday morning in Chino Hills, California. What a delight! The place was packed. Who would think anyone in California, especially in the Los Angeles area, would want to hear anything from a born-again, Christ-filled pastor who teaches the Word of God, is tuned into the Middle East, is pro-life, and hasn’t “gone woke” or been corrupted by the world?

The above video on socialism that Jack Hibbs posted, presented by the Honorable Bob McEwen, was my introduction to Jack Hibbs several years ago. I found Jack Hibbs on YouTube, not because he was a pastor, but because I was trying to understand the intersection of my Christian faith with the world, with all its allure and corruption. I think it’s important to know our enemy so we know what we are against. Without the Lord’s armor, we will fail.

If we isolate ourselves, I don’t think God can use us as effectively as perhaps He could if we allow Him to put us where He wants us. We are in the world but not of it.

Sometimes, we have divine appointments when we least expect them. Our paths have crossed in unique ways through the years. If you don’t have a church you attend regularly, and even if you do, I hope you will check him out. My favorite thing about Jack Hibbs is his longing for the Lord’s return. I, too, long for Jesus to come back.

In the meantime, stay in the Word, be used by God, and don’t give up. God has left you here for a purpose. Fulfill it. Persevere. And love Jesus with all your heart, soul, and mind.
