I made my first trip to Israel at the beginning of the Gulf War in January 1991. Thirty-two years later, God allowed me to return and explore Northern Israel; the Sea of Galilee, Caesarea, Golan Heights, Megiddo, and Dan.
I was attending the Institute of Holy Land Studies as part of my undergraduate degree, and I made a promise that I would return when the war was over. At that time, the country was in total lockdown, and U.S. government officials had asked all non-essential Americans to leave. I took the last flight out of Israel and went to Engelberg, Switzerland, where I went skiing (much to the chagrin of my family), arriving home as the first shots were fired on Israel.
I had no idea that thirty-two years would elapse before I could make the return trip. But God did not disappoint. The wait was worth it. Enjoy this musical video highlighting my favorite moments, including emotional and spiritual blessings. In future blog posts, I hope to expand on what God showed me about Israel and end-time prophetic events.

Thank you. I meant to watch this earlier, but, am prioritizing as best I can and not hurried about it neither. Thank God. I have met many people who also had travelled to Israel including our pastor. He was not saved then (1970’s), a young man with the common wanderlust. Something I never cared for so much noting how the world tends to travel to our city eventually, content to read about it, then look up.
